Terms

These terms cover this website and the paid service. They do not cover the plugin itself, which is governed solely by its licence.

This website

The information here is provided in good faith and kept accurate as the software changes. Descriptions of what the plugin does are statements about the current version, not promises about future ones. The demonstration site is provided for evaluation, runs against Stripe's test environment, and should not be relied on for anything real — bookings made there may be deleted at any time.

The plugin

Free, under the GPL, with no warranty. See the licence page. Nothing on this site adds conditions to it.

The paid service

The paid tier is in development and is not yet available for purchase. Nothing here is an offer to sell it, and no money is being taken for it. This section sets out the shape it will take so that it is not a surprise later; it will be replaced with proper terms before anyone can subscribe.

• It will be a subscription to a service — scheduled work and outside monitoring performed by a server we operate — billed periodically and cancellable.
• It will not be a licence to code. Any code delivered to your site stays under the GPL.
• Monitoring will be offered as detection and alerting, never as a guarantee that nothing will go wrong. Anyone selling you certainty about this is selling you something they do not have.

What we do not promise

Booking software sits between a business and its customers, and it will occasionally sit between them badly — a host goes down, a payment provider has an outage, a plugin conflict breaks a page. The plugin is built to fail safely where it can: a lost race never takes a customer's money, and a refund that fails never claims to have succeeded. It cannot make your hosting reliable or your other plugins well-behaved.

Compliance claims

Nothing here, and nothing in the software, tells you that your site is PCI DSS compliant. The plugin reports facts about your own site and states what the standard asks of merchants. Whether you meet it is determined by your assessor or your acquiring bank, and we are neither.

Changes

These terms may change as the product does. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will be notified to subscribers before they take effect.
